Antevenio Latam has appointed Lucas Mentasti as Operations Director. Mentasti has previously worked for Havas Digital. In his new role, he will be in charge of the clients platform and the business in the region.

Jacqueline Cantore has been named VP Programming and Production at A&E Latin America. She will be based in Miami and will report to Eduardo Ruiz, Executive VP and General Manager A&E Olé Networks.

McCann Worldgroup, Interpublic Group of Cos.'s largest advertising and marketing firm, has appointed Marc Landsberg, who has been a director at private-equity firm Lake Capital, as chief executive of McCann's digital and direct-marketing firm MRM. He previously worked at ad firm Leo Burnett Worldwide, a unit of Publicis Groupe. Mr. Landsberg will succeed Reuben Hendell.

A. O. Smith Names Mathias Sandoval to its Board of Directors. Sandoval is chief executive officer and president of Phelps Dodge International Corporation and executive vice president of its parent company General Cable Corporation, where he is chief executive officer and president of its Latin America, Middle East, Asia-Pacific, and Sub-Saharan Africa regions. In his position, Sandoval is responsible for 18 manufacturing operations in 15 countries and distribution centers in eight countries with approximately 3,730 employees and total revenues of more than $1.6 billion.

Newsweek has named Rhona Murphy as global publisher. Murphy will be in charge of overseeing Newsweek’s publishing operations and will head advertising sales and marketing units across the U.S., Asia, Europe and Latin America. Murphy joined Newsweek in 2002 as associate publisher and director of international sales. Most recently she served as Newsweek International publisher and managing director.

Unilever worldwide is introducing three new roles: Helena Ganczakowski as global vice-president for agency relations; Jorgen Bartsch as global vice-president for marketing services; and Paula Quazi as global vice-president for futures communications.Ganczakowski, currently global vice-president of heart health, is a former marketing director for Unilever UK. Bartsch is director of marketing.
