Vivaki announced the promotion of Guillermo Tafet, General Manager for Argentina and CEO South America, to Chairman for Argentina and Chile. Tafet will continue holding the positions of General Manager and CEO South America. In his new role Taget will direct and help the local agencies Starcom, MediaVest and ZenithOptimedia. He also will be running the launch of the digital agencies Razorfish (read here an article about Razorfish's expantion in Latin America) and Digitas.

Rafael Bravo has been named General Manager at ABC, a major Spanish daily that is  part of the Vocento Group. Bravo has worked for ABC since May 2005 as General Manager Sevilla.

The Argentinean agency Arnold4D has hired Verónica Fernández as new Digital Marketing Director for BBVA, Coca Cola, Ministerio de Defensa, Inmobiliaria Espacio and  Armada Española. The agency also appointed Carmen Zavala as Digital Marketing Executive Manager for BBVA, Ministerio de Defensa,  Vodafone, Seur and Volvo. Both Fernandez and Zavala had worked at  “The Internet Sales Company”.

Luca Cavalcanti has been promoted at Bradesco Brazil to Director of Bradesco Día y Noche. He will be replaced by Jorge Nasser, who assumes as new Marketing Director.

ABC Entertainment Group announced past July 27, that they accept the resignation of Stephen McPherson, former President at the Group.

E! Networks Latin America has promoted Jonathan Blum to VP Business Operations. In his new role, Blum will be in charge of the development of original productions and the regionalization and decentralization of operations.

Diego González, ex president of Diagonal –part of the Group Terán TBWA-; Erick De Kerpel, ex Creative Director at Terán TBWA and Raúl Santamaria, ex communication vice-director at Nextel Mexico have launched the agency Epica, based in Mexico City.
