Juan Jose Nuñez,COO of Starmedia in the U.S and Latin America, yesterday left his position at the U.S Hispanic and Latin American Internet company.

Nuñez contributed substantially to the growth of Starmedia in the U.S and Latin America.
Juan Jose sent us the following e-mail.

"This has been an extremely difficult decision to make, since I have considered starMedia as my home for the past 7 years. Since the year 2002, I have seen it revive, grow, and become one of the leading Internet companies in the US Hispanic and Latin American markets. But the time has come to pursue new professional challenges. I want to thank you all for your friendship and support throughout all these years, but I want to send out a very special and heartfelt thank you to all my friends and colleagues at starMedia, who, throughout all these years, have shown me nothing but unconditional support and true professionalism."
