Rich media provider PointRoll announced several additions to its executive sales team, starting with Adam Chandler, its new vice president of East Coast sales and Canada and Felix Gomez West Coast sales director.

Chandler, who will be based in New York City, most recently served as Yahoo's executive director of U.S. sales, partnerships and emerging markets. The position Chandler is leaving in Yahoo! is Executive Director of U.S. Sales, Partnerships and Emerging markets. Yahoo! is working on his replacement now. “We have some great internal candidates who have raised their hand”, Chandler says.

Gomez will be expected to help grow the Hispanic market for PointRoll in the United States and Latin America along with other key strategic domestic accounts.

Francisco Lozano is the new U.S. Hispanic Sales Manager at Baby Center en español, a Hispanic parenting online destination owned by Johnson & Johnson. Lozano was hired last October.

David Adams was named editor of PODER Enterprise Miami and US Editions. Adams will remain based in Miami and will direct the Miami and US Editions of PODER Enterprise, as well as online content for PODER 360

Jay Small has been named president of interactive at Cordillera Communications.

David Chitel left Batanga to pursue his own business interests. Chitel had sold his company Latcom to Batanga in 2006 (click here to read related story).

WPP has handed GroupM Interaction chief executive Rob Norman the additional role of chief executive of GroupM North America. Norman will take over the role on 31 March from Marc Goldstein, who will be retiring after two years heading GroupM North America.

Chiqui Cartagena has been named Story Worldwide's Senior Vice President of Multicultural Marketing, and will oversee the agency's growing multicultural marketing practice with an emphasis on the U.S. Hispanic and African American communities.

Mike Wortsman, former head of Univision Television Group, will serve as interim CEO of impreMedia while a search is conducted. Mr. Paton will remain a director of Impremedia and investor in the company, sources at Impremedia just told Portada. (click here to read the story).
Liberman Broadcasting, Inc. announced the appointment of Mike Reid as Executive Vice President of National Sales, effectively immediately. Based in Dallas, Mr. Reid will work closely with advertisers and agencies to provide compelling network and national sales opportunities for Estrella TV. He will report directly to Winter Horton, LBI Media’s Chief Operating Officer.

Ogilvy & Mather has appointed Gustavo Martinez to the newly created post of Global New Business Director. In addition, Mr. Martinez has been named Global Director of Global Brand Management (GBM). Ogilvy & Mather's GBM is a group of senior leaders who manage and grow the agency's portfolio of global clients around the world.

Laura Salerno has been promoted from associate publicist to senior account executive at Rubenstein Public Relations (RPR). She joined the firm in April 2009 and will be handling a variety of consumer and entertainment-related accounts.
