Lopez Negrete Communications announces the appointment of Ed Cantú to the position of Director of Consumer Insights. Cantú will lead the agency's Account Planning and Consumer Insights team for the agency and will play a key role as a member of the Strategic Planning Team of the agency. 

ZGS Communications announced that Martin Arnaud was promoted to Local Sales Manager for WTMO Telemundo Orlando effective January 4, 2010.

ING announced that it has added staff to further the company’s enterprise-wide multicultural sales efforts, the new team members are: Andres Vargas Escobar, vice president of multicultural sales operations, to be based in Windsor, Conn.; Juan Pablo Troncoso Philippi, manager of sales support, to be based in Irvine, Calif.; Nydia Monarrez Lozano, manager of sales support, to be based in Tampa, Fla.; and Erika Contreras Escobar, business coordinator, to be based in Windsor, Conn. 

Adrenalina, announced the creative team hires today of Mauricio Garcia, Juan Marin, Fernando Paz and Hugo Sanchez. Garcia and Marin joining as visual geniuses — the job title for art director at Adrenalina, Paz coming aboard as a senior visual genius and Sanchez signing on as a senior content genius — the job title at the ad shop for copywriter.

LatinWorks announced the addition of Rafael Serrano, as Creative Director, and Scott Radigk as Director of Production Operations.

In the role of Creative Director, Serrano will oversee the creative development of campaigns for clients, such as Bacardi, Kimberly-Clark, Texas Lottery, Shell and ESPN Deportes. In this newly created role, Radigk will work with all departments to integrate the production process and manage production workflow through the agency while working towards an overall concept approach to production.

Discovery Communications announced the appointment of industry veteran Peter Liguori as Chief Operating Officer. He replaces Mark Hollinger, who last week assumed the role of President and CEO of Discovery Networks International. 

Bloomberg L.P. announced that Paul Bascobert has been named president of Bloomberg BusinessWeek, effective January 4, 2010.  

Janet Coats, vice president for news for the Florida Communications Group and executive editor of The Tampa Tribune, is leaving the company, effective December 18th.   

The Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) announced that global CEO and President Mike Wehrs will resign effective December 31, 2009 after having led the association for the past year.  Wehrs will take on the role of Special Advisor to the MMA Global Executive Committee until June 30th 2010 to ensure a smooth transition.  MMA Global Chairman Federico Pisani Massamormile will serve as interim CEO.  

Jane Clarke has been named managing director of the Coalition for Innovative Media Measurement (CIMM). Clarke will oversee day-to-day operations of the organization, including managing the RFI process, forming relationships with vendors and oversight of the group's research studies.
