SMG’s Monica Gadsby to lead U.S. Hispanic Latin American Divisions

Starting on January 1, 2010 Monica Gadsby, the head of Starcom Media Vest (SMG) multicultural operations in the U.S., will add a new role as CEO of Starcom MediaVest Group's Latin American network. Her new position will be CEO-Multicultural/Latin America.

In her new Latin American function, Gadsby will replace Martha Marin, who is retiring as CEO of SMG Latin America.

Ms. Gadsby will remain based in Chicago and set up a second office, probably in Miami, convenient for her frequent Latin America trips. She is a native of Brazil, and speaks English, Spanish, Portuguese, French and Italian.
