Terra y Telemundo extienden acuerdo de transmisión de partidos en vivo hasta 2011

Telemundo es el propietario de los derechos de transmisión de todos los partidos de fútbol de la Selección Nacional Mexicana, incluidos los juegos de clasificación para la Copa del Mundo (pero con exclusión de los que tendrán lugar en la ronda final de la Copa del Mundo en Sudáfrica). Terra anunció ayer que se extendió a 2011 el acuerdo con Telemundo para la transmisión en vivo de los partidos. El anuncio fue realizado en su sitio web http://www.terra.com/futbol_estelar/.

La transmisión en vivo del partido de clasificación para la Copa Mundial de EU contra México, jugado el veranos pasado, fue patrocinado por Sprint y obtuvo más de 400.000 reproducciones en línea, de las cuales más del 50% fueron en vivo. Durante el juego hubo más de 2.500 usuarios conectados en más de 60 salas de chat discutiendo todos los ángulos de la excitante acción. Tras la celebración del juego y su extensión hasta el día siguiente, se produjeron otras 144.000 reproducciones de contenido relacionado. Solamente el día del partido el canal de deportes de Terra recibió un récord de 290.000 usuarios únicos en EU.
