Changing Places: Beatriz Planas, Danilo Alvarez, Martin F. Reidy, Alexandra S. Postman, Dan E. Short

Beatriz Planas will serve as managing director of the Posterscope USA Miami office. Planas most recently was sales manager for outdoor media company Lamar Advertising of Puerto Rico, where she was responsible for business development, marketing and strategic planning.

Danilo Alvarez has been named Creative Director of dexposito & Partners, LLC. The announcement was made by Jorge Ulla, agency Partner/Chief Ideation Officer, who praised “the forward-thinking approach of Alvarez, his non-traditional nature and his appetite for ongoing digital opportunities.

Meredith Corporation named Martin F. Reidy President of Meredith Integrated Marketing. Reidy will also serve as an Executive Vice President of Meredith’s National Media Group and Corporate Vice President of Interactive Strategy. He will report to Jack Griffin, President of Meredith’s National Media Group.

Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, Inc. has named Alexandra S. Postman Editor-in-Chief of Body + Soul, a magazine dedicated to healthy and sustainable living. She joins MSLO from ELLE magazine, where she has served as Executive Editor and helped develop the magazine’s annual “green” issue devoted to health and the environment. At Body + Soul, she will be responsible for overseeing the editorial direction of the magazine and wholeliving.com, the magazine’s home on the web.

The New York Times Company’s Regional Media Group has announced that Dan E. Shorter has been named vice president, digital media effective September 8. Mr. Shorter will report to Michael Golden, president and chief operating officer, Regional Media Group, and vice chairman of the Times Company.
