Discovery Emerging Networks announced the appointment of Sara Kozak to vice president of production for Discovery Emerging Networks.  Reporting to Myers, Kozak is charged with managing the production of original programming across Discovery Emerging Networks, specifically Science Channel, Investigation Discovery and the Military Channel.

Irving Plonskier has been promoted to senior VP and general manager of advertising sales for Latin America at Sony Pictures Television (SPT). Plonskier assumes duties previously held by Klaudia Bermudez-Key, who was recently named senior VP and general manager of SPE Networks Latin America.

Mediaedge:cia (MEC) has appointed Mark Yesayian to lead the agency’s West Coast digital practice. Mark will be based in Seattle and will report to Patrick Cartmel, Manag Mediaedge:cia ing Director, MEC Interaction.

Revolucion announced that Patricia Kelpie is joining the full-service Hispanic communications agency at its New York headquarters as Director of Strategic Development. Ms. Kelpie will focus on client development within the beauty and fashion verticals. She will report to Amy Gómez, Managing Partner/Director, Account Services and collaborate with the Account Services, Creative and Public Relations teams.

Della de Lafuente joins New York based Adrenalina as Director of Strategic Communications and Editorial. At Adrenalina, de Lafuente will direct and execute the agency's communications and reputation strategy in culture, among consumers and media and will do the same for clients, Wernicky said. Her appointment is effective immediately, reporting to Wernicky.

Michael McLaren, who was named CEO of Worldgroup EXP in February of this year, is moving to Regional Director of McCann Worldgroup Asia Pacific and President, CEO of McCann Worldgroup Japan.

Current Media, has selected Ken Ripley as Executive Vice President of Advertising Sales. Ripley, who will be based in the company's growing New York office, brings more than 20 years of traditional and new media advertising sales expertise to Current Media, including national cable, satellite, network, syndication, interactive television, VOD and in-game advertising platforms.

Richard Kirshenbaum and Jon Bond, co-chairman, announced the appointment of Lori Senecal as President, CEO and Partner of the rebranded agency kirshenbaum bond senecal + partners.
