Gustavo Godoy and Bob Oliva have founded the Godoy Oliva Group, a Miami based firm specialized in helping clients in their marketing and sales process. “In a time like this everybody needs help in monetizing their product or services, our mission is to do so at low cost to the clients. We basically help in the marketing and sales process. So it comes down to marketing and selling the product to achieve a good ROI for the client.”, Bob Oliva tells Portada. Clients of the Godoy Oliva Group include The Miami Herald (marketing and selling The Americas Conference), for La Opinion Orlando (packaging and representation sales in South Florida), Media Economics (presentation and sales of the services) G-Force Promotions (marketing and sales of their MMA TV specials broadcasts to Latin America). Gustavo Godoy, was publisher of Vista magazine (circ. 1 million), a bilingual Hispanic magazine published as an insert in newspapers nationwide. Earlier in his career Godoy was SVP of News at Univision and founder of HBC that later evolved into Telemundo. Bob Oliva worked for many years as International Advertising Manager of The Miami Herald International Edition, whose last edition was published on June 11.

Veteran corporate marketer Carlos J. Viramontes, an instrumental leader in building brand dominance for Anheuser Busch with the national Hispanic market during his 28 years with the company, is now offering his expertise to clients through his new firm, Viramontes Marketing Communications (VMC).

The newly established company is staffed by an experienced team of marketing professionals to assist companies in growing market share in both general and ethnic specific markets.

Sony Pictures Television (SPT) has given Klaudia Bermudez-Key oversight for all of the television networks under the SPE Networks Latin America umbrella, including Sony Entertainment Television (SET), AXN and Animax, in the role of senior VP and general manager.
