Changing Places [11-A]

Stephen Friedman, General Manager of MTV, announced today that Jose Tillan has been appointed to the position of General Manager /Executive Vice President of MTV Tr3s. Tillan will be based in New York City and Miami, reporting to Mr. Friedman.  Tillan, who was Senior Vice President of Content and Creative for MTV/VH1 Latin America, will remain involved with the Networks and will serve as Executive Producer of Los Premios MTV 2009 reporting to Sofia Ioannou, Managing Director of MTV Networks Latin America.

Tracy Decker Executive VP Media Director for Global Hue will depart the agency early next week. Ms. Decker’s departure comes on the heels of the highly publicized departure of Global Hue Latino President Linda de Jesus-Cutler. 

Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. announced that Vicente Trius, Executive Vice President, President and CEO of Wal-Mart Asia, has been named Executive Vice President, President and CEO of Wal-Mart Latin America. Based in the Latin America regional office in Miami, Trius will assume his new role July 6. His successor in Asia will be named at a later date.
