Kellogg Company Donates Entire Day’s Worth of Cereal Production

The donation of 3.5 million pounds of cereal, worth approximately $10 million, amounts to more than 55 million cereal servings. Cereals to be donated include popular brands such as Kellogg's Rice Krispies, Kellogg's Raisin Bran, Product 19 and Crispix.

The donation will provide critical sustenance for food banks across the country as they are challenged to keep up with rising demand. Network agencies are seeing an average increase of 30 percent in the need for food assistance.
