Jose Santiago is the new Multicultural Advertising Manager at the New York Daily News, whose Hispanic publications include Viva and Hora Hispana. Until recently, Santiago worked at Cuatro Media’s Fox Sports en español magazine.

Kinetic announced the appointment of Steve Ridley to the role of Global Chief Operating Officer. Ridley, currently Chief Executive Officer for the Americas, has been instrumental in building the Kinetic offering in the United States to its current market leading position with 6 offices and billings in excess of $1.3 billion. Ridley will assume the new role based in the United States to give a wider global emphasis to the management of Kinetic and broaden the resource from its traditional UK headquarters.

David Payne, currently Chief Executive of Kinetic EMEA, will be transferring to the United States in the next few months to take on the role of Chief Executive for the Americas.

Eric Newnham will temporarily assume the role of Chief Executive of EMEA along with his Global Chief Executive role, and a new EMEA Chief Executive will be announced shortly.

American Latino Syndication (ALS) announced the hiring of Patria Cervantes as Account Executive in their New York office. Cervantes joins ALS from Seventeen Magazine, where she was Salesperson of the Year in 2007. At ALS, she will focus initially on the Beauty and Fashion/Retail categories, segments which have experienced significant year- over-year growth in spending targeted towards Hispanic customers.

Frank Flores has been named the Chief Revenue Officer of Spanish Broadcasting Systems (SBS). Mr. Flores will continue to manage the SBS New York radio stations WSKQ-FM and WPAT-FM.

Marko Radlovic moves from Chief Operating Officer to SVP/GM of SBS's Los Angeles radio stations.
