The Houston Chronicle Cuts Editorial and Sales Positions

The Houston Chronicle (Hearst, daily circulation of 448,271) last week cut approximately 90 editorial positions (30% of newsroom employees) and 40 marketing/sales positions. The cuts include employees working in editorial and sales/marketing positions in The Houston Chronicle’s Spanish-language properties. Three employees working on La Voz de Houstons’ editorial team were discontinued.
