International Tennis Federation

The ITF launched a full-service Spanish-language version of the successful Fed Cup website to coincide with the 2009 Fed Cup by BNP Paribas World Group First Round ties which took place last weekend (7-8 February.)

The new website, www.fedcup.com, will provide Spanish-speaking fans with current news and information in their own language, and will also feature original content in Spanish from ties around the world.

The Spanish website will incorporate all the regular Fed Cup online features of live scoring, match reports, photographs, player biographies, audio interviews and more.

InTown Suites

InTown Suites Extended Stay Living, a lodging chain, has launched a Spanish version of its web site, www.intownsuites.com. The new site, InTown Suites En Espanol, was created by MotionPoint Corporation. The purpose of the site is to better serve InTown Suites' Spanish-speaking clientele. Collier Daily, Director of Marketing and Communications for InTown Suites Extended Stay Living, elaborated: "Our Hispanic guest base is extremely important to us. While programs to enhance communication with these guests already existed at the property level, we wanted to further reach out to this growing segment by translating our web site into Spanish. We believe this is an important step in maintaining our position as the leader in the economy extended stay industry."

IFA Insurance Company

IFA Insurance Company has launched a new Auto Insurance Web site in Spanish. The new full-service Car Insurance site offers Hispanic and other Spanish-speaking customers the ability to purchase and manage their New Jersey or Pennsylvania Car Insurance policy online. The new Spanish site also provides an exhaustive library of helpful information on Auto Insurance.

Boost Mobile

Boost Mobile, Irvine, Calif., part of Sprint Nextel, named iNspire, Dallas, as its first agency of record for campaigns aimed at Spanish-speaking consumers.

Colorado Department of Transportation

In 2007, 23 percent of unbuckled car crash victims in Colorado were Latinos, prompting the Colorado Department of Transportation to create its first-ever Spanish public service announcement. Working with Denver-base advertising agency Hispanidad, the agency’s new commercials focus on the family and remind individuals that taking care of your family starts with proper use of passenger restraints in your car or truck.
