The Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI) has announced its new board of directors for the 2009-2010 term.  Congresswoman Nydia Velázquez of New York will chair its board of directors.

Hispanic Digital Network has added two new members to its sales team: Tony Hernandez, whose previous experience has included media sales at the Los Angeles Times and Tribune Interactive; and Lou Ramirez, whose experience has included film, promotions, print, radio, and online advertising sales.

The Whitehouse has announced that it intends to appoint Alex Lopez Negrete to a Commission to Study the Potential Creation of a National Museum of the American Latino.
