The 38th South Florida International Auto Show at the Miami Beach Convention Center, was the perfect venue for the presentation today of the 5th Annual Sobre Ruedas Awards.


Best Economy Car:
           Suzuki SX4 Crossover

Best Sedan:             Mazda6

Best Sports Coupe:          Nissan GT-R

Best Sports Sedan:           Lexus IS-F

Best Luxury Car:    Hyundai Genesis

Best SUV:                Chrysler Aspen Hybrid

The Sobre Ruedas Hispanic Pride Award 2008 was presented this year to Esther Martinez, a Studio Designing Engineer for the GM Design Center in Michigan, an outstanding member of the Hispanic community that has succeeded in the automotive industry.

The award for Manufacturer of the Year was presented to Suzuki, and the Sobre Ruedas Award 2008 to the Hispanic Choice went to the Nissan Maxima, the vehicle selected by the readers of the magazine, the listeners of ESPN Deportes Radio and unique visitors of autos.batanga.com

Sobre Ruedas has an audited circulation of 600,000 bimonthly copies, reaching over 1.9 million readers throughout the leading Spanish newspapers in the top 8 Hispanic markets.
