BBC Magazines Seeking to Expand in Latin America

BBC Magazines, a subsidiary of BBC Worldwide is looking to establish a greater presence in Latin America.

“At the moment, we only have 1 magazine in South America—BBC Historia in Brazil—but are hoping to do some more deals in the near future,” says James Hewes, head of international development for BBC Magazines.

More broadly, BBC Worldwide has just launched a couple of TV channels in Mexico, and Hewes says,  “We are hoping this will raise the profile of our brands a little.”
