People en Espanol to Host Family Event in Central Park

People en Espanol capped off another summer in the city with a weekend event on Saturday to celebrate Hispanic heritage month.
 
The event took place at the Rumsey Playfield in Central park  run from 12:00 PM-7:00 PM, and featured musical performances by Hector Acosta, Fonseca and Luis Fonsi, among others.
 
Sponsors included ABC, Garnier, JCPenney, Maybelline New York, Playhouse Disney, State Farm and Verizon Wireless.
