“There will be no big changes to Mindshare’s multicultural buying wing,” is the message coming from the company’s corporate communications director John Wolfe, following the recent restructuring the company has undertaken.
“Multicultural media buying has always been part of the overall mindshare buying unit, so it coincides well with the re-organization. What we’re doing is breaking down silos. We’re striving for integrated solutions here. We don’t see the world in tiny pieces, but rather big pieces with smaller parts to them,” says Wolfe.
Wolfe adds that Mindshare’s multicultural wing, headed by Halim Trujillo, is not hiring any new personnel, or letting anyone go. “Elements of our multicultural operations will be present in all four divisions,” concludes Wolfe.
