New Video on Demand Site Launches Online

SaberHacer.com launches, offering Hispanics How-to information in Spanish.

Content

Seeking to capitalize on the trend of increasing Hispanic Internet access and on the relative scarcity of informational material for Hispanics online, former NBC journalist Michele Ruiz has launched SaberHacer.com, a website dedicated to providing Internet users with on-demand how-to video clips.

The content ranges from personal finance tips to parenting and health information. Other channels include videos on attaining citizenship, computer and Internet usage tips and education-related content.

Saber Hacer’s content is available in both English and Spanish by using a toggle button on the top of the screen. While the video content is often the same for both versions, the experts that appear in each are often different, and the Spanish-language content is never overdubbed from the English.

So far, the site has drawn advertiser interest from the likes of Windows Vista and Delta Airlines, both of whom are currently running Spanish-language ads on the site.
