Los Kitos Undertakes Human Rights Education

Los Kitos will be working with Youth for Human Rights International, Inc. (YRHI) to develop a series of bilingual edu-comic books about the 30 human rights for children while teaching basic human rights and responsibility.

The Human Rights for Kids project is an illustrated children's booklet that teaches the United Nations’ Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

The first edition will be released in February of 2008, with a  run of 100,000 copies. It will be launched in Colorado state schools. The comic will also be distributed in Latin America through partnerships with NGOs there.
