Rafael Hernández is the new Sales Director for Latin America and the U.S. Hispanic market of “.Fox (Punto Fox),” the online advertising unit of Fox International Channels. Hernández will lead Fox’s Miami and New York based online advertising sales teams. Hernández comes from Batanga where he was Sales Director – Region West, where led ad sales efforts for 3 publications owned by Batanga. 

República, a Miami-based national branding, advertising, entertainment and communications company, has promoted Marilu Del Toro, previously a senior account executive, to the position of group account manager. Del Toro will now oversee strategy and daily client service for several of the firm’s national accounts.

Philip Bonnery has joined Miami-based la comunidad as senior art director. He will be charged oversee creative and the execution for the ad agency's clients, which include Remy Martin, Citibank, Best Buy and Virgin Mobile.

George Herrera, former president and CEO of the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, joined Burger King Corp.'s Diversity Action Council (DAC). He will offer market expertise on diversity development goals for the company to enhance good business relationships with minority groups.
