El Clasificado Expands Circulation

El Clasificado (270,000, Weekly, Spanish), the LA-based classified and publisher of Al Borde alternative music magazine, has announced that it is increasing circulation and will begin distributing in Long Beach and the surrounding areas.

El Clasificado’s distribution model combines geographic regions which group zip codes into “zones,” in essence customizing itself specifically for the region it serves.

The Hispanic population in Long Beach has increased in recent years: Hispanics now comprise 36 percent of the city’s entire population, which has prompted El Clasificado to add an additional 350 locations throughout that city. Now the publication will have a unique version for Long Beach and surrounding cities such as Hawaiian Gardens, Artesia, Cerritos and Lakewood to meet the needs of the ever increasing segment.
