Hispanic Trends magazine becomes Hispanic Enterprise.

Content

Citing changes in the Hispanic business landscape and a strengthened commitment to the marketplace, Hispanic Trends magazine has adopted the weightier title of Hispanic Enterprise magazine. The change will be reflected on the cover of the magazine’s June/July issue.

The new moniker was tested in the magazine’s April/May edition – titled the “Enterprise” issue. Reader response was resoundingly positive, thus cementing the decision to go ahead with the name change.

Publisher Mariano M. Faget commented that the new name better reflects the magazine’s focus on small/medium businesses and better aligns the magazine with the interests of its advertisers. In addition, the new title recognizes that Hispanic entrepreneurship is no longer merely a trend, but a growing reality in today’s marketplace. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, Hispanic-run/owned businesses are expected to double every 5 years, reaching over 8 million within 10 years.

The magazine will maintain its current bi-monthly circulation of 125,000, and will expand its two key events, the Hispana Leadership Summit and the Best in Business awards.
