GDA Newspapers Fully Committed Representation Agreement signed with Charney Palacios/Publicitas

The eleven Grupo de Diarios América (GDA) newspapers recently appointed Charney Palacios/Publicitas & Co. as the exclusive advertising representative in the U.S. for the sale, promotion and coordination of all print and online pan-regional advertising campaigns. “The eleven leading media companies reunited in the Grupo de Diarios América (GDA) are fully committed to the mutual exclusivity representation agreement signed with Charney Palacios/Publicitas & Co. as of March 1, 2007. It appoints Charney Palacios/Publicitas & Co. as the exclusive advertising representative in the United States for the sale, promotion and coordination of all print and online pan-regional advertising campaigns.

This agreement has been ratified by all the GDA stockholders: La Nación (Argentina), O Globo (Brasil), El Mercurio (Chile), El Tiempo (Colombia), La Nación (Costa Rica), El Comercio (Ecuador), El Universal (México), El Comercio (Perú), El Nuevo Día (Puerto Rico), El País (Uruguay) y El Nacional (Venezuela).

Regarding direct sales, Charney Palacios/Publicitas will work with the GDA companies and provide support to the individual operations developed by El Nuevo Día of Puerto Rico, as well as by the exclusive international representative for O Globo of Brazil, Multimedia USA.
