  • Rebecca Chavez Becker has been named sales director of Hispanic publications for Hearst’s San Antonio Express News. She will be in charge of sales initiatives for Conexión, Cancha and Mexico Express.

  • Former Bravo CEO Gary Bassell has signed on as managing principal with global marketing management firm Zyman Group. He will co-lead Zyman’s multicultural practice.

  • Miami based US Media Consulting Group has hired Juan Pablo Suarez as Advertising Sales Manager for print in Latin America. Suarez previously worked in Charney & Palacios – Publicitas as Account Director. US Media Consulting also hired Natalia Sierra as Client Services Director print.

  • Linda E. Dunbar has been named vice president for corporate communications for Dow Jones & Co, parent company of WSJ en espanol.

  • Francisca Brown, recently was named American Family Insurance’s new manager of multicultural advertising, replacing Gwen Kelly who recently got a new position as Wal-Mart’s new director of diversity.
