RealTalk L.A. Multicultural Glossy Mag Prepares to Launch

RealTalk L.A. is a new glossy magazine that is preparing for publication in the Los Angeles DMA. The magazine targets various minority groups in the area, of which the Hispanic segment is the most populous.

The magazine is set to launch in early May, with a web edition slated for late April. “The online destination is going to be very interactive, with blogs, video content, etc,” says Diana Tarralvo, a magazine representative.

The magazine is being launched by Jay Levin, founder of L.A. Weekly, and is targeted at affluent multi-cultural families with an HHI of $105,000/year. It will have an initial distribution of 250,000.
