Todobebé Launches New Website

Coinciding with the seven year anniversary of the original Todobebé website, the company has announced the launch of its redesigned site. TodoBebe, is a producer of multimedia Spanish-language pregnancy and parenting content.

Among the new features of the site is a natural keyword search that provides ready access to the site's content. There is also an A-to-Z index of parenting topics to aid new parents who are not sure where to begin.

The site also has a new “Celebrations” channel devoted to party planning and ideas for celebrations.

Todobebé plans to continue introducing new features to the site over the next six months, including access to its archive of video parenting tips and radio shows.

In early 2005, TodoBebe launched its first editorial product via direct mail by partnering with ADVO, a shared mail advertising company, to distribute its bilingual publication TodoBebe Direct. The initiative marked TodoBebe's first foray into print media. “Baby media typically means magazines, but we really believed that initially television and radio were important in the Hispanic market,” explained Gilian Sandler, chairman and CEO of TodoBebe. “We studied different options in the Hispanic magazine industry, but concluded that a traditional magazine would miss part of our target audience.” Sandler adds that embedding their editorial product into a shared mailing gives TodoBebe mass-market reach.
