David Taggart, group publisher of Editorial Televisa, ended speculation that the Hispanic publisher was interested in the magazine by stating simply that "We are not looking at ¡Mira!.”
After it was announced that American Media would be divesting the magazine, along with four other publications, there was some chatter indicating that Editorial Televisa was a potential buyer. However, Mr. Taggart noted, "We got the sales prospectus and concluded that we are not interested right now.”
