  • Chase's Consumer Bank, a unit of JP Morgan& Chase, last week started its first-ever Spanish-language television advertising campaign on Univision and Telemundo networks in Phoenix and several other markets. The TV ads are part of a broader new Spanish-language campaign called "Confia en ti. Confia en Chase," or "Confidence in yourself. Confidence in Chase"), which includes print, radio, bus shelters and other outdoor ads.
"We want to make sure we are speaking to Hispanic consumers in a voice and a language that they understand," said Ryan McInerney, head of marketing for Chase's Consumer Bank. "Our new ads are designed to show that customers can trust Chase to provide the financial services needed in various life situations."
The commercials will run through the end of the year in Phoenix, Tucson, New York, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, El Paso and Harlingen, Texas.

  • National Health Partners, Inc., a provider of unique discount healthcare membership programs, announced in April that it initiated a national advertising campaign targeting the Hispanic marketplace. International superstar Lucia Mendez will be starring in television and radio commercials. "We have completed production of the initial round of television and radio commercials and will begin airing them next week across the country on such Hispanic television networks as Telemundo and Univision”, David M. Daniels, President and Chief Executive Officer of National Health Partners, stated last week. We will be airing Lucia's commercials during some of the top-rated Hispanic television shows, including Don Francisco and Cristina. The company will be supporting its television and radio commercials with print ads and direct marketing campaigns featuring Ms. Mendez.
"We are ramping up our operations substantially in anticipation of the future growth that we will generate from our Hispanic advertising campaign," continued Mr. Daniels. "We are currently in the process of hiring and training several additional members of our customer service staff at our executive offices in Horsham, Pennsylvania and will continue to hire and train more staff throughout the course of the campaign."
