September 2005 diversity report recognized for its detailed information on top schools and businesses for Hispanics.

Content

Hispanic Business magazine has been nominated by the Western Publications Association for the 2006 Maggie Awards for its research-driven September 2005 issue. The category for which it has been recognized is the Business, Finance, Management & Retail/Trade category.

One of the primary reasons for Hispanic Business magazine receiving the nod for the Maggie Awards appears to be its focus on quantifiable information such as data-based rankings of the best Hispanic companies. The September 2005 issue included detailed sections on the top graduate schools for Hispanics as well as the top 40 companies for Hispanics. The magazine has both print and online editions.

The 2006 Maggie awards will be held this year at the Weston Hotel at the Los Angeles airport.
