People en Español Increases Rate Base

The  magazine will increase its rate base in 2006 to 475,000, up 5.5% from 450,000.

People en Español Publisher Jacqueline Hernández-Fallous announced that the Spanish language magazine will increase its rate base in 2006 to 475,000, up 5.5% from 450,000. Since its inception in 1996, People en Español's rate base has grown by 179%. People en Español boasts the largest circulation of all Hispanic magazines on the market.

People en Español continues to enjoy significant newsstand and subscription growth, up 5% and 2.8%, respectively in the first half of 2005. On average, the magazine sold more than 118,000 copies of each issue.

“2005 was a stellar year for People en Español, especially in terms of newsstand growth and vitality,” says Hernández-Fallous. “Our growing numbers continue to reflect and reiterate the power and influence of the ever-growing Hispanic print marketplace.”
