Zyman Group's Marketing to Hispanics (M2H) has named Manny Gonzalez as its new Managing Consultant.Gonzalez will focus on business and intellectual capital development.Before moving to Zyman Group, Gonzalez worked as Hispanic and general market brand director at Diageo North America for Johnnie Walker and other Scotch brands.Gonzalez will be based in Miami at Zyman Group's new Hispanic and Latin American business offices.

Hoy recently hired Reynaldo Gonzalez to be Sales Manager for the New York City edition. Gonzalez will work with the local sales team and will be responsible for growing local and regional ad categories. Before coming to Hoy, Gonzalez was vice president of sales, media and promotions for the YA Group and general manager at Radio Unica.

AMI Latino Magazine Group announced Verónica Tabares as the new Marketing Manager for Shape en Español and ¡Mira! Magazine. Tabares will work on developing marketing programs for both publications. She will be based in New York. Before joining AMI, Tabares was a Senior Account Executive at The Vidal Partnership, where she worked on promotions and events for the Diageo account. Tabares also worked at Dieste, Harmel and Partners on the Pepsi account in New York City. Beth Pleiss joined the AMI Latino Magazine Group as Account Manager for Shape en Español and ¡Mira! Magazine. Pleiss will handle advertising sales in the Midwest territory for both magazines. She will be based in Chicago. Previously, Pleiss was a Print Supervisor at Carat, where she worked on Bank One/Chase, Motorola, RE/MAX and Jenny Craig accounts. Pleiss also worked as a Supervisor at Euro RSCG Tatham/MPG, where she planned targeted Hispanic media for brands including Summer's Eve and Carrier Heating and Cooling.
