GDA and Multimedia Inc. form Partnership

As of August 1, 2005, Multimedia, Inc. will be a new international agent for the sale of GDA worldwide. Roberto Fuenzalida, executive director for GDA, believes that this is the right moment to expand operations throughout different regions of the world. According to Fuenzalida, GDA income from panregional advertising should increase with this innovation. "GDA has established a very successful relationship with major advertisers through our longstanding partnership with Publicitas/Charney Palacios. The addition of Multimedia will help to boost our sales with its vast expertise as international representative for O Globo, the leading newspaper in Brazil and member of GDA in that country," says the executive.
In the opinion of Fernando Mariano, President of Multimedia, Inc., "There is demand from international advertisers to market their products and services in the main general interest newspapers of the region, and GDA is the ideal platform due to the qualifications of its audience and its credibility."

With head offices in the United States, Multimedia has been in the market for 14 years and banks on a team of 75 agents in 28 countries. Besides GDA, the company is also responsible for the international representation of other media outlets such as Bloomberg Television Latin America & Caribbean, Valor Economico, Zero Hora, Epoca, and CBN Radio Network of Brazil. With its strong global presence, Multimedia also represents other media from Latin America, Europe and Asia, with focus on U.S. sales.

The Grupo de Diarios America, GDA, was founded in 1991 as an association of Latin American newspapers. Today, the GDA is a consortium of the eleven most influential newspapers in the region: La Nacion (Argentina), O Globo (Brazil), El Mercurio (Chile), El Tiempo (Colombia), La Nacion (Costa Rica), El Comercio (Ecuador), El Universal (Mexico), El Comercio (Peru), El Nuevo Dia (Puerto Rico), El Pais (Uruguay) and El Nacional (Venezuela).
