People en Español (Time Inc, circ. 450,000) publisher Jacqueline Hernández-Fallous has been appointed to publisher of Teen People in a newly-created role in which she will oversee both growth market brands. In her new role, Hernández-Fallous will be responsible for the day-to-day business operations for Teen People and for People en Español. People en Español closed out 2004 (vs 2003) with ad pages and revenue up 9.4% and 19%, respectively. People en Español circulation is currently 450,000 Teen People circulation is 1.45 million. Additionally, Diane Malloy was named Associate Publisher, Teen People, Manny Fuentes was named Associate Publisher of Category Development, Teen People & People en Español and Carmen Lopez Named National Director of Integrated Sales, People en Español.

executive who heads AOL's multicultural efforts, to take on the newly-created post of senior vice president of digital media.
Meredith Corporation named Chiqui Cartagena as Managing Director of Multicultural Communications for Meredith Integrated Marketing. In this newly created position, she will be mainly responsible for developing the company's integrated marketing work. Chiqui was previously with The Ad Age Group.
The Bravo Group upped Isabella Sanchez to VP/Director of Media Services. She will oversee the agency's media planning and buying units in Chicago, Irvine (CA), Miami, New York and San Francisco. Isabella was previously VP/media director of the department. She will be based in Miami but will travel between Bravo's Miami and New York headquarter offices.
Jorge Londoño will be taking a new position in with Scholastic, Inc., in Danbury, CT starting Monday 6/20. He will be responsible for growing the Spanish language children's book program. Until last week Londoño was direct manager marketing manager at The Taunton Press (Newtown, CT).
Reuters named Janet Scardino to EVP/Global Head of Marketing for its media responsibilities. Janet was previously an SVP of international marketing for AOL where she oversaw brand and acquisition marketing for 16 nations.
