Bloomberg News Jumps into Spanish-language Newspaper Market

The new supplement will be distributed on Mondays in El Nuevo Herald (Spanish-language daily, circ.90,000,Knight Ridder).The supplement will largely feature Latin American and local economic and business news. It is Bloomberg's first U.S. Spanish-language supplement -- the news service has similar ventures with newspapers in Chile, Venezuela and Panama. Bloomberg is the second financial news company providing content to Spanish-language publications. Dow Jones, The Wall Street Journal en espanol, has been active in this market for the last 3 years.
