New York Post Launches Weekly Teaser Page

The New York Post will launch a weekly teaser page of NYP Tempo, its monthly Hispanic supplement, included in the entertainment section of The New York Post on Wednesday October 6th

The teaser page(s), either one or two pages, will announce the next NYP-Tempo issue. They will run in the entertainment section of the NYP and cover lifestyle and entertainment issues of Latino New York . They will run three Wednesdays a month. The remaining Wednesday, NYP Tempo itself will be published.

NYP Tempo is a monthly approximately 30 page long pull-out section written in English targeting New York's young, bicultural Latinos. The new teaser pages also offer Tempo advertisers an additional advertising opportunity.

Some NYP Tempo's advertisers include non-traditional newspaper advertisers like Johnnie Walker Black Label, Jack Daniels and Roca Wear. Unlike other Hispanic supplements published by New York newspapers which are only distributed in areas of high Hispanic population (e.g. the New York Daily News zoned monthly VIVA supplement), NYP Tempo is inserted in all New York Post copies (circ. 678,000). 3.8 million Latinos live in the NY DMA, making up 19% of the total population.
