Coral Gables, FL. based Vista Magazine, an English language monthly insert founded in 1985, is expanding into newspapers located in non-traditional areas with growing Hispanic populations. In addition to the thirty newspapers currently carrying Vista (total circulation 1.1 million), the magazine will be inserted in The Week (English-language weekly, Walworth County, Wisconsin, published by Delavan Enterprises), La Prensa (twice weekly, San Antonio, TX, bilingual, published by Duran Industries) and La Voz (Spanish language weekly, circ. 108,000, Houston, TX, independently owned and distributed by Hearst). Vista is also looking to expand into Connecticut, Seattle and Detroit.
