Colombian Rolling Stone

Miguel Silva acquired the rights to publish Rolling Stone, the magazine published by New York based Wenner Media, in Colombia and other Andean nations, including Venezuela and Peru. Silva acquired the rights for Rolling Stone from the Argentine newspaper La Nación, who until now held the franchise for Rolling Stone for all of Latin America. Silva, former private secretary for Colombian president Cesar Gaviria, is also involved in the Colombian general interest magazine Gatopardo (circ. 108,000).
