Judges considered how effectively images and language or jargon were used to connect with the Hispanic target market. The judges for the Rainbow Awards were: Javier Aldape, La Estrella (Ft. Worth); Frank Gihan, Chicago Tribune; Liza Gross, El Nuevo Dia (San Juan); Alex Lopez Negrete, Lopez Negrete Communications (Houston); Lisa Skriloff, Multicultural Marketing Resources (New York); Alexis Scott, Atlanta Daily World; Andrea Rothchild, Newsday and Hoy (New York); Ken Smikle, Target Market News (Chicago); and Viki Wong, Dae Advertising (San Francisco).
