Hernan Guaracao, new president of NAHP

Philadelphia publisher Hernan Guaracao was elected as the new president of the National Association of Hispanic Publications (NAHP). Mr. Guaracao is the founder and publisher of Al Día. Also elected during the NAHP's 18th Annual National Convention, held in Las Vegas March 19-22, were: Oscar Reyes, publisher of Washington DC's newspaper, El Pregonero, as new vice president, Francisco Lozano, partner at Los Angeles newspaper La Opinion, as vice president of marketing, Eddie Escobedo Sr., publisher of Las Vegas newspaper El Mundo, as treasurer, and Lupita Colmenero, publisher of Dallas newspaper El Hispano News, as secretary.
