Punto final

3 Puntos, an Argentinian weekly magazine owned by Capital Intelectual S.A, published its last issue on January 16, 2003. Approximately US $4 million were invested in the publication during the magazine's lifetime. Analysts told Portadatm that the magazine lacked a clear editorial policy and had a high rate of staff turn over. Capital Intelectual S.A. also publishes Le Monde Diplomatique for the Latin American southern cone countries (Director: Carlos Gabetta, Circ.: 27,000).

A new magazine, to be launched in March, will be led by journalist Adolfo Castelo, and will emphasize investigative US style journalism.
