To charge or not to charge

Buenos Aires based newspapers Clarín and La Nación are evaluating whether to charge Internet readers to access their website from abroad (mostly the US and Europe). Executives of both newspapers are considering an Internet alliance that would include content from other Argentinean newspapers. These hard currency revenues could equal meaningful cash flow for cash strapped Argentine newspapers.
