Though Batanga didn’t disclose the amount of the fourth round funding injection announced yesterday, VentureWire, a news service specialized in Private Equity and Venture Capital investments, pegs it at $2.5 million, citing a regulatory filing.
Previous backers Tudor Ventures and H.I.G. Ventures led the round, with participation from existing and new angel investors. Batanga has raised about $40 million in total, including a $30 million round in 2007.
