Who we are:
Marcos Baer
Publisher
Marcos oversees editorial and sales. He is based in Portada's NYC headquarters.
Prior to launching Portada in 2003, Marcos worked in both the media and finance
sectors. He occupied leading roles at in the Spanish edition of The Wall Street
Journal, in Spains' newspaper Cinco Dias and at SwissRe. Marcos is an MBA, a
CFA and also has a tennis teacher diploma.
Agustin Wydler
Director Content Management/Research
Agustin is in charge of Portada's content management, databases and event logistics
team. A highly skilled economist, Agustin joined Portada's Buenos Aires, Argentina
office in 2005. He has worked very hard and has had a lot of fun developing and
growing Portada's Buenos Aires team.
Nicolas Miranda
Subscription/Online Sales Manager
Nicolas leads the online sales and subscriptions operation. Based in Buenos Aires.
Nicolas has a degree in Communications. He joined Portada in 2006, enriching the
company with customer service and telemarketing expertise he had previously gained
working at Dell.
Pablo Carrasco
Senior Researcher/Writer
Pablo is responsible for content on Portada's U.S. Hispanic website. A journalism
graduate, he is also major asset to database research efforts. He joined the Buenos
Aires team in 2008. He is fluent in English and very tech-savvy. One of his passions
is soccer.
Carolina Ré
Senior Research Associate
Carolina is responsible for Portada's Latin American and Spanish-language websites. She joined Portada's Buenos Aires team in 2010. A communication science graduate, Carolina enjoys reading all kind of books and watching independent movies.
Todd Sarouhan
Information Technology
Todd is an online entrepreneur and SEO expert. He has substantially developed Portada's
IT infrastructure. Todd is a huge asset each time the system crashes. Thanks to him, it
almost never does. Todd lives with his family in San Diego, U.S.
Dafne Kleiman
Designer
Dafne's strong sense for aesthetics and excellent design qualities have been
paramount to develop the strong brand recognition Portada enjoys today. She leads her
own design firm Dafnedesign in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Bob Oliva
Senior Sales and Business Development Manager — Miami
Bob joined Portada in January 2010 to develop new business in the very important Florida
market. Bob is a very well-known industry veteran who is in charge of generating new
revenue opportunities and expanding our present revenue sources and platform.
